Her position as Director of the Digital Learning Collaborative allows her to continue to do so and provide those opportunities to others. She constantly strives to provide opportunities for teachers to become leaders from the trenches.

Prior to coming to Evergreen, Chris was the K-12 Program Director for Quality Matters (QM) where she helped to empower schools, districts, and organizations to continuously improve and revisit the quality of their  online and digital learning content and environments. She has held many other roles in education, creatively finding ways to inspire others and make a difference in each. Hailing from Long Island, New York, and now living in Maryland with her husband and two kids, Christine’s favorite place to be is at the beach. A former lifeguard and swim instructor, she can’t seem to get away from the water, and has spent many hours watching her son swim competitively at the pool. When not at the beach trying not to kayak in circles, you can find her playing with her Boston Terrier, reading and listening to murder mystery podcasts- pass your recommendations her way!
